Today is the 35th anniversary of the tragic loss of one of the world's great musical talents as well as peace advocates; namely John Lennon. He, along with George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Sir Paul McCartney, made the world stand still and take notice of the revolutions they were making in the western diatonic, steadily timed style of music. In the wake of his assassination, the world mourned - not only because of the great talent they had lost, but because they realized the dream of having the "Fab Four" ever reuniting would never come to fruition since their dissolution as the band called The Beatles some mere 10 years earlier. R.I.P. John Lennon
